Since 1997 breast augmentation surgery has become more popular than ever, tripling in number. Women have many different reasons to go under the knife, whether it be to increase their breast size, balance out uneven breasts, or correct other imperfections.

Breast augmentations can give a woman more confidence and make her feel better about her body.

Here are 10 celebrities who took the plunge and have had positive things to say about their bodies after surgery.

1. Dolly Parton

It is no secret that Country Star Dolly Parton has gone under the knife many times over the years for plastic and cosmetic surgeries. She is very open and honest about her many procedures to increase her breast size. She has often said in interviews how much she loves them.

Her breasts are part of her celebrity image that people recognize. Her doctors have highly recommended that she reduce her breast size due to severe backaches that she suffers from but she refuses, saying they are her biggest asset.

Actress Kaley Cuoco, who starred in the hit tv series The Big Bang Theory, has nothing to hide when it comes to plastic surgery. She just wants to look good and feel good about her body.

In a 2014 interview with Cosmopolitan, she said that she had a breast augmentation several years ago when she was 18 years old. She also noted it was “the best thing I ever did.”

Her implants made her feel better about her body. She went on to say, “I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.”

3. Denise Richards

When former fashion model and now actress Denise Richards was younger, she chose to have a breast augmentation. She soon learned that just because someone says they are a plastic surgeon doesn’t mean they are good at it.

She stated in an interview with US Magazine, “when I was 19, a doctor put in bigger implants than what I asked for. I was in such a hurry to get them that I didn’t research my doctor.” She goes on the say, “You have to be an advocate for your own body and ask questions.” Although it took several surgeries, Denise is now happy with the way her body looks.

4. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie decided to have a preventive double mastectomy after learning she carries a gene that makes it more likely for her to develop breast cancer. Afterward, she had a breast augmentation to reconstruct what was removed during the surgery and says the results are “beautiful.”

She says that the decision to have the surgery was not an easy one to make, but she is happy she made it. Now she has less worry knowing that breast cancer is less likely for her to develop. Her chances now of developing breast cancer drastically dropped from 87% to under 5%, which she says is well worth it.

5. Kelly Rowland

Singer Kelly Rowland from America’s girl group Destiny’s Child decided to have breast implants to make her once A cup breasts to a now B cup making her feel “complete.” This decision was not something she rushed into.

It was a choice she made after thinking about it for 10 years and says “it’s something I really wanted to do for myself and I love them!” She has also hinted that after she is done having children she was going to possibly have more work done.

6. Naya Rivera

Glee star Naya Rivera decided to get breast implants for her 18th birthday. She said, for her, having a breast augmentation was “a confidence thing not a sexual thing.”

It has been over ten years since her surgery and she says that her boobs still make her happy when she looks in the mirror. She says, “It might have even been the best $8,000 I’ve ever spent.”

7. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

From the hit reality show Jersey Shore Nicole Polizzi, better known as Snooki, stated in 2016 that she had both breast implants and a lift. After having 2 kids and breastfeeding each of them, her boobs were not what they used to be, so she wanted a “mommy makeover.”

After having the surgery, she now says “I feel so confident with myself as a woman, as a wife, as a mom. I kind of feel complete now.”

8. Anna Faris

Actress Anna Faris thought she would never have any sort of plastic surgery, but at the age of 30, she decided to get a breast augmentation. She told Women’s Health in an interview, “I came down to one simple thing, I wanted to fill out a bikini.” After surgery, she couldn’t be happier with the results.

Model and actress Jenny McCarthy has always been truthful about the plastic surgeries she has had. She went through with her first breast augmentation when she was young, at the age of 19. Later on, she had them redone to make them smaller and is happy with the results.

American tv host, actress, and fashion designer Wendy Williams has a big personality and wanted a body that matches it.
